Track Session 1, 11:00 AM

Technology - iPad Movie Projects
Presenter: Ben Brazeau

Participants can choose activities/topics, will be assigned roles in their groups and film and edit a short video. We would hopefully be able to upload the results by the end of the session to share out to show them that process as well.

Track Session 2, 1:00 PM

Technology - The Lightning Round: 60 Powerful Tools in 60 Minutes
Presenter: Matt Miller

Hang on, because they’re going to come fast and furious! 60 useful digital tools are presented in 60 minutes. Get the most power for your hour! Everyone will come away with something they didn’t know about that they can use. Includes GREAT digital handouts to give you access to these tools any time.

Track Session 3, 2:00 PM

Technology - Re-invent Revisions: Using Voice, Video, and Sites to Critique
Presenter: Jonathan Spike

Let's be honest: the red pen is NOT effective for feedback. Today's students learn best from varied forms of feedback, and using tools such as Kaizena, MoveNote, and much more can help! Prepare to give students feedback like you've never done before - embed audio, video, and site-based feedback to help teach students in the margins rather than simply tell them what is right or wrong. We will also discuss how to effectively create video feedback that can be re-used to benefit multitudes of students for years to come!
